She’s the author of We Too Sing America: South Asian, Arab, Muslim, and Sikh Immigrants Shape Our Multiracial Future about community histories, and Social Change Now: A Guide for Reflection and Connection about effectively and sustainably responding to community crises. Deepa’s excited to bring her debut children’s picture book, We Are The Builders!, to inspire the youngest changemakers (and their caregivers).
